Letter from the President
Welcome from the St. Thomas Aquinas Mothers' Association! Whether you are new to the parish, new to motherhood, or a family looking to get more involved in the St. Thomas community, I invite you to learn more about our organization.
STAMA has supported the mothers of our parish for more than 50 years as they look to make connections spiritually, socially, educationally, and charitably. We are able to do this through monthly meetings featuring guest speakers addressing a wide-range of insightful topics. We also host events throughout the year including holiday parties, playgroups, family events, the Children's Christmas pageant, and the Year-End Mass and dinner. Our charitable work provides volunteer opportunities in the community, leads collections for various causes throughout the year, and hosts our annual STAMA Swap yard sale to benefit a local non-profit. STAMA members also lead the Sunday Nursery and Preschool Religious Education programs. As you can see, we have something for everyone.
While we enjoy supporting our parish and community throughout the year, we also focus on taking care of each other through our Meals for Moms program, Moms' Night Out, and various special interest groups. Each summer we spend an unforgettable week sharing our faith with the children (and families) of our parish through Vacation Bible School.
We are an active parish organization with countless opportunities to get involved and share in the amazing adventure of parenthood together. I invite you to take a closer look and consider joining STAMA! Please feel free to reach out to me or another board member with any questions. I look forward to meeting you and your family!
