Annual Awareness Update For Previously Cleared Volunteers at STA

The Dallas Diocese Safe Environment Manual requires that “all staff and volunteers must complete [an] annual update of the Safe Environment Program Training.”  If you have previously attended a Family of Faith awareness training session, you may fulfill this requirement by either completing one of the following on-line programs.

All Green badges expire on April 1, 2011, regardless of when Safe Environment training was done to receive this badge. All holders of the Green badge must complete one of the following programs, or attend a Family of Faith session, to maintain their cleared status. The 2011 Red badges will expire on April 1, 2012.

The Diocese will no longer accept as update training a program that an individual has used repeatedly for update training purposes. Please select a new program when updating your training! All volunteers who are cleared for the next year will receive their badges in the mail. Please NEVER ASSUME that you are cleared if you have not received the Red 2011 badge. The online version of the Annual Awareness Update lets you maintain your cleared status without leaving your home and on your own schedule.
