Holy Name Society Announces Scholarships

The Holy Name Society is proud to announce its annual Religious and Service Award Scholarship winners for 2005. Megan Clewis and Patrick Richards are this year's winners, with both receiving $1,000 to be used for tuition at a Catholic High School of their choice.

The Holy Name provides two scholarships each year to graduating eighth graders. Recipients must have attended St. Thomas for a minimum of three years, be ranked in the top five for service hours, be confirmed in the Catholic Church, and in good standing academically. Children of active Holy Name Society members, as well as individuals participating in a scouting program, get special consideration.

Our annual Holy Name Golf Tournament is one event that provides the organization funds to offer scholarships. Thank you for your support, and congratulations to Megan and Patrick.

Shannon Stansbury, Holy Name Society President
