How Much Will It Cost?

Parishioners:

Payable at first meeting.
$170 Payable at first meeting.

$100

A Refundable Security Deposit:
The deposit is required to reserve the Church for your wedding day. This fee will be forfeited if there is any damage to the Bride’s Room or any other area of the Church, inside or outside. Fees deducted are at the discretion of the pastor.

No wedding date will be held for more than 2 weeks if the deposit has not been received.

$70

Educational fees.
The educational fees include fees for the Natural Family Planning and Conflict Management Seminars. (Please make your check for $ 170 payable to St Thomas Aquinas. Barring damage to the Bride’s Room or other Church property, the $ 100.00 deposit will be returned after your wedding. The STA Wedding coordinator will discuss your refund at your wedding rehearsal. )

Payable at last meeting.
$370 Fee for the use of the Church: This fee serves to cover the expense of our Wedding Coordinator, altar servers, normal cleaning, electricity, and other utilities. (Please make check payable to St. Thomas Aquinas).
$250 Fee for the organist: This fee is required whether the organ is used or not as it is a part of the contractual agreement with the resident musician. Soloists or additional musicians require an additional fee, to be discussed with Michael Conrady and directed appropriately. (Please make check payable to Michael Conrady.)

Non-Parishioners:

Since St. Thomas Aquinas parishioners bear the cost of upkeep of the church, the non-parishioner fee for the use of the Church is $500 instead of $370 and should be paid with the $100 security deposit at the first meeting. The Music fee, as well as the Clergy Honorarium apply in the same way as for parishioners.

Clergy Gift:
Questions from time to time arise regarding a clergy gift. A clergy honorarium is permitted but not expected as a way to acknowledge the work of the priest or the deacon who has assisted you in your preparation and celebration of the Sacrament of Marriage. Anything given is not a fee but a free will gift and reflects your support for the work of ministry of the clergy. Your gift is very much appreciated by the clergy.
