Friday of the 23rd Week in Ordinary Time

Greetings Dear STA Parishioners and Special Friends:

Welcome to Friday of the 23rd Week in Ordinary Time.  Click Here for Today's Readings.

As is the usual case for Friday’s, we don’t have a Liturgy of the Word today, but we do have a reflection.  Today’s reflection is on the Sacred Heart of Jesus and there is also…after the reflection…the singing of “Holy is His Name” by Lauren and Dave Moore.  A beautiful reflection and a beautiful song to go with it.

Please go to our website and then click on the Facebook link at the top of the page and you can find the video entitled “Friday of the 23rd Week in Ordinary Time.”

Also, below is the Worship Aid for this Sunday’s live-stream 10:30 Mass.  I received it early this week, which is great, and wanted to get it to you right away.

And, of course, you know what today is.  9-11.  Where were you and what were you doing on that tragic and horrifying day 19 years ago today?  Wow.  What a powerful memory.

Please join me in praying today for our country and, especially, for those who lost their lives on that unfortunate day.

As is the usual case, the 10:30 Mass for this Sunday is full, but there are plenty of slots available at all the other Masses.  Please go to our website to sign up.

We hope you have a wonderful weekend coming up, and we hope to see you at Mass either in person in the Church or virtually at the 10:30 Mass this Sunday.

Your servant in Christ,

Deacon Ken
