Friday of the 24th Week in Ordinary Time

Howdy Folks:

Today is Friday (yea!) of the 24th Week in Ordinary Time.  Our reflection today is on The Sacred Heart of Jesus and the song that follows is “Holy is His Name” as sung for us by Lauren and Dave Moore.

You can get the readings for today if you Click Here for Today's Readings.

As this week comes to a close, we look to Sunday and the Masses here at STA.  And, a quick look at the SignUps shows pretty much the same thing as yesterday: 10:30 is full and there are plenty of seats at the other Masses.  And so I invite you to Click Here to Sign Up for Sunday Masses.

We hope to see you at Mass on Sunday.  But, if you are unable to attend in person, we hope you will join us for the live-stream Mass at 10:30 on Sunday.

Go to our website and then click on the Facebook link at the top of the page and you will be able to find our live Mass at 10:30.  If you miss it live, you can watch the recorded version anytime after Mass is over.

And, in conclusion…just as a fun aside and a little chuckle…way back when the State Fair announced that the State Fair would be cancelled this year, I used my limited and amateur ability with Photoshop to create and post this picture for you guys:

Big Tex

So…did you see what came out in the news this week?  That’s right…Big Tex has a mask.  LOL.

Have a great weekend.

Blessings to all.
