Friday of the 33rd Week in Ordinary Time

Greetings Dear STA Parishioners and Special Friends:

Welcome to Friday of the 33rd Week in Ordinary Time.  As is the case each Friday, we do not have a Liturgy of the Word Service, but we do have a special reflection.  Today’s reflection is a prayer to The Sacred Heart of Jesus.  This prayer is followed by a beautiful presentation of “Holy Is His Name” by Lauren and Dave Moore.

Today’s Mass readings can be found if you Click Here for Today's Readings .

GOOD NEWS FOR YOU: We will soon be announcing the Mass schedule for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day as well as New Years Eve and New Year’s Day.  So, I will let you know when they are posted and ready to sign up.  The links to those will be on our website, and I am going to look to no later than this coming Monday to have those ready for you and posted on our website.

Also, we have decided to raise the number of seats available on Thanksgiving Day to 130, the same as on Sundays.  So, if you have not registered for the 9:30 am Thanksgiving Mass, please do so as soon as possible so you can get your seat reserved.  With the capacity having been raised yesterday, there are still a lot of seats available.

A REMINDER…there will not be an 8:00 am Mass on Thanksgiving Day…only the 9:30 am… and there will not be a Mass on the Friday after Thanksgiving.

We have had a lot of great feedback on the improvement in quality of our live-stream broadcast after Sunday’s introduction of the new system.  The quality was fantastic, and once we get the missing camera installed, the camera coverage of the Mass will be even better.

So, please keep praying for the full and complete new camera and sound system to be totally up and running.  We are so pleased to have that for you, as we know there are many of you who rely on the live-stream Masses for your weekly Mass attendance.

In conclusion, for those of you who are enjoying sharing the weekly STA Lower School Chapel videos with your kids and grandkids, here is this week’s video which speaks to this coming Sunday’s Christ the King celebration: Click Here for This Week's Pre-K and Kinder Chapel Service .   Our special helper this week is Cammy.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Your servant in Christ,

Deacon Ken
