Monday of the 30th Week in Ordinary Time

Greetings Dear STA Parishioners and Special Friends:

Welcome to Monday of the 30th Week in Ordinary Time.  Today’s readings can be found if you Click Here for Today's Readings .

Deacon Tony Campise is our celebrant and homilist for today’s Liturgy of the Word, which is now up and running on our Facebook page.  If you have a Facebook account, just join our Facebook page and take a look.  If you don’t have a Facebook account, go to our website, and click on our Facebook link at the top of the page.

If you scroll down when you get to our Facebook page, you will find today’s video marked “Monday of the 30th Week in Ordinary Time.”

The reflection at the end of the Liturgy of the Word is our Monday prayer to the Infant Jesus of Prague.

Please don’t forget, by the way, that Tuesday confessions have been cancelled tomorrow due to a meeting with the Bishop and all of the priests.  Confessions will resume as usual on Thursday.

In his homilies yesterday, Fr. John mentioned the importance of us voting, but doing so with properly formed consciences.  He mentioned the document on the NCCB website on “Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship.”

To go to their website and see the intro to the document, you can Click Here for the NCCB Website Discussing the Subject or you can go directly to a PDF version of the document if  you click here to read The PDF Version of "Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship" .

I have posted the Masses for next weekend.  When you go there today, be sure to scroll all the way down, as yesterday’s Masses won’t be gone until tonight, as they go away after 24 hours.  You can register if you Click Here to Sign Up for Sunday Mass .

I have also added three more weeks to the Weekday Mass Schedules, so you can now go there to sign up.  You can Click Here to Sign Up for Weekday Masses .

Thank you for your nice feedback on the children’s video link I sent you.  The kids do seem to enjoy them, and I just pray they are getting the message from them.  I will send you this week’s version for this upcoming Sunday later in the week.  It has Cammy, the camel, as the special helper.  LOL.

Finally, please offer up your prayers for the “live-stream video cameras and sound project” I mentioned.  They are nearing the completion of the installation of everything, and so let’s pray that all goes well in that very important project.  So many folks are being touched and blessed by the live-stream videos.

Have a great week.

Your servant in Christ,

Deacon Ken
