Saturday of the 13th Week in Ordinary Time and Worship Aid

Greetings Dear STA Parishioners and Special Friends:

Welcome to Saturday of the 13th Week in Ordinary Time.  Click Here for Today's Readings

Our video reflection for today is up and running, and we turn to Our Lady of Sorrows for her intercession.  Two beautiful songs are included: the Stabat Mater and Holy is His Name.  We hope you are blessed by this reflection today and we continue to ask and pray for our Lord to step in and heal the world of this pandemic.

For those of you who are new to these emails, our STA Facebook page can be found by going to our website at STA Website and then clicking on the St. Thomas Facebook page link at the top of the homepage.  You can find the video for today and you can also go there on Sunday to watch the live-stream Mass at 10:30.

In case you didn’t get around to reading yesterday’s email, please be advised that…due to the very steep increase in the number of Covid-19 cases announced yesterday…we are cancelling all of the scheduled Sunday Masses for the next 3 weeks.

Our 10:30 am Mass on Sunday will continue to be live-streamed.

Our Weekday Masses will continue as scheduled.  However, the maximum number who will be able to attend those Weekday Masses will only be 25 at each Mass.

Additionally, (and this is new information today), we are having to cancel the Wednesday 12:00 noon and the Thursday 8:00 am Masses next week due to funerals.

So, with all of that said, it takes us back to today’s reflection on and prayers to Our Lady of Sorrows.  We really need her intercession right now for her Son to heal the world.

This thing is showing no signs of slowing down, so we need to do whatever we can to be part of the solution.  Our continued prayers and our safe and cautious actions can and must be part of the healing.

Your servant in Christ,

Deacon Ken
