Saturday of the 30th Week in Ordinary Time

Greetings Dear STA Parishioners and Special Friends:

Welcome to Saturday of the 30th Week in Ordinary Time.  You can get today’s readings if you Click Here for Today's Readings .

Since today is Saturday, we have our prayer to Our Lady of Sorrows, and it is now live on our Facebook page.  In that prayer reflection, we will hear a beautiful version of Stabat Mater followed by Ave Maria.

Tomorrow is All Saints Day…a day when we celebrate those who are in heaven with the Lord.

That makes today, then, All Hallows Eve…more commonly known as Halloween.  I hope you will be able to keep today and your celebration of this day holy.

Celebrating Halloween can  be a lot of fun, but the world…in the bigger picture…has taken this day and turned it into the celebration of darkness,.  But we should keep it holy as we prepare to celebrate and rejoice with those saints who are in heaven.

As of early this morning, all of the All Saints Day Masses for tomorrow are full except for the 1:00 pm Mass, but that Mass is getting close to being full as well.  You can Click Here to Sign Up for Sunday .

I hope you have a safe and holy All Hallows Eve today, and I hope to see you at Mass tomorrow to joyfully celebrate the saints in heaven.

Blessings to all.

Your servant in Christ,

Deacon Ken
