Thursday of the 28th Week in Ordinary Time and the Memorial of St. Theresa of Jesus

Shalom, Y’All:

Welcome to Thursday of the 28th Week in Ordinary Time and the Memorial of Saint Teresa of Jesus, better known as St. Teresa of Avila.  Our Liturgy of the Word video is up and running now, and you can find it on our Facebook page as usual.

The readings for today can be found by Clicking Here for Today's Readings .  I will have the Worship Aid for Sunday for you in tomorrow’s email.

Yours truly is the celebrant and homilist today and the reflection at the end is a prayer to Our Guardian Angels.

Sorry for the lateness of the email today.  Just as we finished recording the Diocesan Mass yesterday, the power went off.  The power came back on later but our server didn’t, and I wasn’t able to write the email last night to send this morning before 8:00 Mass.

The recording of the English Mass went very well, and it was sure great to hear Lauren and Dave Moore sing once again.  The Mass will be on Channel 27 at 11:00 and 12:00 noon this Sunday.

Unfortunately, the Diocesan folks ended up having to pack up and go to another parish who had electricity in order to record their Spanish Mass for Sunday, but they were finally able to get it done although much later than planned.

We hope you will join us in Church, of course, and maybe record the Mass and watch it later.  Or, if you aren’t going to join us in person, maybe you can watch the live-stream on our Facebook page at 10:30 and watch the recorded Mass at noon.
