Tuesday of the 16th Week in Ordinary Time

Greetings Dear STA Parishioners and Special Friends:

Welcome to Tuesday of the 16th Week in Ordinary Time.  It is also the Memorial of St. Lawrence of Brindisi.  Here is the link for today’s readings:  Readings for Tuesday of the 16th Week in Ordinary Time

Our Liturgy of the Word and the prayer to Our Lady of Fatima is up and running for you to watch, and yours truly is the celebrant and homilist for today.

As I announced yesterday, the Weekday Masses for next week are now available for signup.  You can get there through our website.

SUNDAY MASS NEWS: Sunday Masses will remain shut down for sure through this coming Sunday, July 26th.

However, an assessment will be made next week as to whether there is a significant spike in numbers due to the July 4th holiday gatherings.  So…Masses could resume that next weekend or, they could remain shut down.  We will update you next week.

Please continue to keep Fr. John in your prayers as he is the one who needs to prayerfully make these calls. I can assure you, dear friends, he is doing all of this with great concern for you and for all, and he does not take this responsibility lightly.

So, I hope you enjoy and are blessed by the readings today and my reflections on those readings as I recorded from the courtyard.  Sometime after I began the reflection, an air conditioner condenser came on in the background with a loud and distracting whirring noise.  Sorry about that…I thought it would be a peaceful setting out there.  But, guess I was wrong.

Oh well, the message is the same…through our baptism we are all brothers and sisters of our Lord Jesus Christ, so let’s all strive to live as a family and love each other and to be His disciples by spreading that love.

Blessings to all.

Your servant in Christ,

Deacon Ken
