Tuesday of the 27th Week in Ordinary Time and the Memorial of St. Bruno

Shalom, Y’All:

Welcome to Tuesday of the 27th Week in Ordinary Time.  It is also the Optional Memorial of St. Bruno.  Here is a link to today’s readings: Click Here for Today's Readings .

Today’s Liturgy of the Word video is up and running now, and yours truly is the celebrant and homilist.  The Liturgy of the Word is followed by a prayer to Our Lady of Fatima asking for her intercession.  That reflection also includes the Memorare.

The picture below is a picture of the shore of the Sea of Galilee…my favorite “go to place” for prayer.  When (if) you watch the video, you will see that I reference this in my homily.

Sea of Galilee

Today’s Gospel powerfully moved me to commit myself to more prayer…to sit at the feet of Jesus…right now in this extremely busy time, and I love to “go to” my place of peace.  Most of the time, of course, I can only go there in the theatre of my mind…but I still love to go there.  I can’t wait to go back for real.

I hope you have a blessed rest of the week, and please join me in a more committed time of prayer…even if we are way too busy, let’s find time to sit at the feet of Jesus.

Your servant in Christ,

Deacon Ken
