Wednesday of the 24th Week in Ordinary Time and the Memorial of Sts. Cornelius and Cyprian

Greetings Dear STA Parishioners and Special Friends:

Welcome to Wednesday of the 24th Week in Ordinary Time. It is also the Memorial of Sts. Cornelius and Cyprian.  Today’s readings can be found if you  Click Here to Get the Readings.

Today we welcome our friend Deacon Andy Pena, who was ordained from this parish a couple of years ago but was assigned to St. Michael the Archangel in Garland.  Their gain…our loss!

Deacon Andy is our celebrant and homilist today, and we are so grateful to have him join us today, as Fr. James is on a well-deserved vacation this week.  We sure hope Deacon Andy can come back and help us out again sometime soon.

For those who are new to this email list, you can find the video on our Facebook page.  Go to our home page and then click on our Facebook link at the top of the page.  You can find the video by scrolling down.

Also, on Sundays you can go to the same place to find our 10:30 live-stream Mass.  If you miss it at 10:30, you can watch the recorded version any time after the Mass is over.

The reflection at the end of the Liturgy of the Word is a prayer of intercession to St. Joseph.

Well, it is the middle of the week and time to take a look at the sign-ups for this weekend:  Bottom line…a whole bunch of seats left open at this time.  The 10:30 Mass, as usual, has the most registrations so far, but all of the rest of the Masses have a bunch of seats.  So, please Click Here to Sign Up for Sunday Mass.

As I have mentioned several times, the Friday Mass this week has been cancelled due to a funeral.  There are a few seats left for tomorrow’s Mass and there are seats available next week.  You can sign up for Weekday Masses if you Click Here for Weekday Masses.

We are glad you joined us today, and we hope you have a blessed day.

Your servant in Christ,

Deacon Ken
