Wednesday of the 27th Week in Ordinary Time and the Memorial of Our Lady of the Rosary

Greetings Everyone:

Welcome to Wednesday of the 27th Week in Ordinary Time and to the Memorial of Our Lady of the Rosary.  Today’s readings are available if you Click Here for Today's Readings .

Fr. James Dorman is the celebrant and homilist for today’s Liturgy of the Word.  The reflection at the end of the Liturgy of the Word is…appropriately…the beautiful presentation of “Holy Is His Name.”  As I am sure you know, those words came from Mary at the Visitation…which we celebrate as the second Joyful Mystery of the Rosary.

I can’t resist inserting the following picture for you from The Church of the Visitation in Ein Karem, Israel.  It is in front of the wall that contains the Magnificat in languages from all over the world.  When we are there, we pray the Magnificat out loud together and it is a powerful moment.  I am so blessed to be able to visit the location of the Second Joyful Mystery of the Rosary:

Church of the Visitation
