Greetings Dear STA Parishioners and Special Friends:

Welcome to Friday of the 4th Week of Lent.  Today is a special day as it is the Solemnity of St. Joseph.  I apologize that we didn’t have a special Liturgy of the Word for this day today, but we have been pretty overwhelmed with things lately and this day just “snuck up on me” to be honest with you.  Sorry about that. Here Are Today's Readings.

Shalom, Y’All:

Down below you will find a revised email designed to get you correctly signed up to be notified of the firming up of the 2022 Pilgrimage to the Holy Land.

The one I sent out Sunday was designed for those who have been with me on a previous pilgrimage, and I didn’t realize that the new folks couldn’t register (my bad) .

So if you have never been on a pilgrimage with me and went to my first email and thought you got signed up, please check the new one below and get registered to be notified.

Greetings Dear STA Parishioners and Special Friends:

Sorry for the late email today.  More technical “harassment” today…the power went out this morning and our server was down until about 11:30 just before 12:00 Mass.  Ugh.  I couldn’t get signed in on my laptop but now am cranking…at least for the time being.  LOL.

Welcome to Wednesday of the 4th Week of Lent.  Here Are Today's Readings.

Yours truly is the celebrant today, and our Gospel story takes place at the Pool of Bethesda.  I have inserted a picture below that I took at the Pool of Bethesda, which as you can see is no longer a pool.  It is, in fact, bone dry and we must use our imagination as we stand there looking at it.

Greetings Dear STA Parishioners and Special Friends:

We have been expecting a statement from the Bishop this week regarding procedures for Mass, and that statement came yesterday afternoon.  It has important information that affects all of us here at St. Thomas as well as everyone in our Diocese.

Guided by the Bishop’s requests in the statement, we at St. Thomas will continue the requirement to wear face masks during Mass and we will continue to maintain appropriately social distanced seating.
