Greetings to All:

Welcome to Thursday of the 13th Week in Ordinary Time.  Our Liturgy of the Word video is posted now on our Facebook page, and the readings for today are posted below.

Our celebrant for the Liturgy of the Word today is one of the seminarians for the Diocese of Dallas, Joe Olickan.  He will share an inspiring reflection on the readings.

Greetings Dear STA Parishioners and Special Friends:

Welcome to Wednesday of the 13th Week in Ordinary Time.  Fr. James Dorman is our celebrant and homilist. The readings for today are inserted below.

Our reflection at the end is the prayer to St. Joseph.  I again apologize for the bad sound quality of that St. Joseph reflection.  If I can ever find a moment, I plan to go back in and re-record the audio so it sounds better.

I hope you are blessed by the Liturgy of the Word today and Fr. James’ message.

Shalom, Y’all:

The Liturgy of the Word for today is up and running, and yours truly is the celebrant and homilist today.

Shalom, Y’All:

Greetings Dear STA Parishioners and Special Friends:

Welcome to Tuesday of the 12th Week in Ordinary Time.  Yours truly has stepped in for Fr. John and I am the presider today for our Liturgy of the Word

Fr. John is still working diligently to finalize the Mass schedule for this coming weekend, and was not available to record yesterday, so…at the very last minute…I recorded today’s video.

Greetings Dear Parishioners and Special Friends:

Welcome to Monday of the 12th Week in Ordinary Time.

What great news we have today.  On Saturday, our life-long parishioner, Tony Campise, was ordained a Permanent Deacon.

Yesterday, Tony assisted at his first Mass as a deacon (our 11:00 am live-stream Mass) and preached his first homily.  He did a wonderful job in both categories.

And…more good news.  Tony has been assigned to serve at St. Thomas!!!!!!!!   Yea.  Thank you Jesus.  We need the help.

Greetings to All:

Welcome to Saturday of the 11th Week in Ordinary Time…The Memorial of the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Shalom, Dear Parishioners and Special Friends:

Today is the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.  Our video for today is now up and running for you on our Facebook Page.

As is the usual case, we don’t have a Liturgy of the Word for you on Fridays, but, yours truly got motivated on this special celebration to do a short reflection including reading one of the readings and sharing some thoughts from Pope Benedict.

Greetings to All:

Welcome to Thursday of the 11th Week in Ordinary Time.  Our Liturgy of the Word video for today is up and running now on our Facebook page.  Today’s readings are inserted below.

Shalom, Y’All:

And welcome to Wednesday of the 11th Week in Ordinary Time.

Our Liturgy of the Word video is up and running with Fr. James Dorman as our celebrant and homilist.  Our meditation at the end is a prayer to St. Joseph.  The readings for today are inserted below.

Greetings to All:

Today is Tuesday of the 11th Week in Ordinary Time.

Our daily video is posted on our Facebook page now.

Today, instead of the usual Liturgy of the Word (although today’s readings are inserted below), we decided that today we would post Fr. John’s reflection on making a Perfect Act of Contrition.

Greetings STA Parishioners and Special Friends:

Welcome to Monday of the 11th Week in Ordinary Time.  Leading our Liturgy of the Word today is Tony Campise, our life-long parishioner who is soon to be ordained a Permanent Deacon.

In fact, Lord willing and the creek don’t rise (or another pandemic converges on us), Tony will be ordained to Holy Orders as a Permanent Deacon this coming Saturday.  Their original date for ordination was postponed by the Corona virus but is rescheduled for this coming Saturday.
