Money issues and money management often present a significant challenge and opportunity to newly-married couples. This seminar is designed to help couples recognize those challenges and do some concentrated thinking and planning regarding their finances and “financial styles” as individuals and as a couple.
Where and when are the classes? Classes are held on Sunday mornings from 9:30- 10:45 in the St. Joseph Room. Please use the form below to register for one of these classes. We ask you to register by the Thursday before the day you will attend, so we might have sufficient materials for you.
Additionally, we ask you to complete (each of you should do this on your own) and bring to class the “Knowing the Territory” worksheets. You will find these in the pink “Perspectives on Money” handout (the one with the piggy bank on the cover) you received at your Marriage Orientation Meeting. These will give you a good baseline to start the discussion.
During this time of shelter-in-place, please know that Marriage Prep classes continue to be provided by St. Thomas Aquinas, but by Zoom. You can register for Marriage Prep classes as you normally do, and we will send you a Zoom invitation by email to attend a class at the date and time specified on the website. Certificates of attendance can be provided.
