Whether you are being married here at St. Thomas or elsewhere, there are certain essential documents that must be obtained. Please click for Documents You Will Need.

Required Marriage Preparation Programs

  • Conflict Resolution Workshop: After attending the Marriage Orientation Meeting and prior to your first meeting with the priest or deacon, please register for (but do not yet attend)  Register for The Constructive Conflict Resolution Seminar.    “The Constructive Conflict Resolution Seminar” is an outstanding workshop presented here at St. Thomas. It will prove invaluable to couples preparing for their life together.
  • Natural Family Planning: After attending the Marriage Orientation Meeting and prior to your first meeting with the priest or deacon, please register for (but do not yet attend)  Register for An Introduction to Natural Family Planning.
  • Financial Foundations Workshop: After attending the Marriage Orientation Meeting and prior to your first meeting with the priest or deacon, please register for (but do not yet attend)  Register for the Financial Foundations Workshop . 
  • "Family Matters" Workshop: After attending the Marriage Orientation Meeting and prior to your first meeting with the priest or deacon, please register for (but do not yet attend)  Register for the Family Matters Workshop This workshop helps you explore the family traditions and styles each of you brings to marriage.
  • The "Reality Check": After attending the Marriage Orientation Meeting and prior to your first meeting with the priest or deacon, please register for (but do not yet attend)  Please register for the Reality Check workshop.  This workshop is an opportunity to meet with an experienced married couple to visit some of the challenges and joys of being newly-married.   Please note: You should schedule to attend this class after attending all the others. In other words...it should be the last class that you attend.
