St. Thomas Aquinas Advent/Christmas Choir Concert Series

Lessons & Carols

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 6th at 7:30 p.m.

The ST. THOMAS AQUINAS CHOIR, under the direction of Michael Conrady, and the ST. THOMAS AQUINAS CHILDREN'S CHOIRS, under the direction of Carol Anne Taylor, will perform a Festival of Lessons & Carols in the inspired tradition begun at Kings College, Cambridge, in 1918. Join us for an evening that is the perfect blend of scripture, song and candlelight.  Admission is FREE.

Christmas with the Texas Boys Choir

MONDAY, DECEMBER 11th at 7:00 p.m.

The more than 80 treble voices of the TEXAS BOYS CHOIR (TBC), under the direction of Ellie Lin, returns to St. Thomas for their annual performance of sacred and holiday music. For more than 70 years, TBC has been acclaimed as one of the best boys choirs in the world by international audiences. They have sung for Popes, Presidents and Kings and made 40-plus recordings.  Ushering in the Christmas spirit with TBC has become a St. Thomas tradition! Orpheus Chamber Singers presents A British Christmas

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 16th at 7:30 p.m.

Acclaimed for “beautifully-refined choral singing,” the two dozen professional voices of the ORPHEUS CHAMBER SINGERS celebrates the holiday in song at St. Thomas once again. The Dallas Bach Society presents New Years Bach

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 31 at 7:30 p.m. and MONDAY, JANUARY 1 at 3:00 p.m.

DALLAS BACH SOCIETY, under the direction of Artistic Director James Richman, returns home to St. Thomas Aquinas!  The early-music ensemble celebrates its 35th Anniversary with a program of the complete Brandenburg Concertos by J.S. Bach. Dallas Bach Society was founded in 1982 by Paul Riedo, then Music Director of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. The group performed at St. Thomas during Mr. Riedo’s tenure as their Artistic Director, 1982-1994. Please see www.dallasbach.org for additional information and ticket prices.
