October: Month of the Holy Rosary
Beginning this Sunday, at the request of our Bishop, we will begin reciting the Rosary together 3 times on each Sunday of October.
Our Knights of Columbus Council 11937 will be leading the Rosary each Sunday of October immediately following the 9:00 am Mass; immediately following the 5:00 pm Mass; at 7:10 on Sunday evening prior to the 7:30 pm Mass. It will be prayed in front of the Blessed Mother (next to the ambo).
Rosaries, if needed, are being provided also by the Knights of Columbus, but are requested to be returned to the basket so that there will be plenty available for the entire month.
Bishop Burns has asked that all parishes make an effort to pray the Rosary during the month of October, the month of the Holy Rosary. The intention of this is for reconciliation and renewal of the Church.
Of course, praying the Rosary for these intentions does not have to be restricted to Sundays. Our parishioners are encouraged to pray it often.
